Okay, I might be just like every other travel blogger who quit their day job to see the world. But if you've come here looking for packing advice or glorious travel photos of a sexy blonde with wind in her hair, you've come to the wrong place.

I originally created the Opportunist on a whim. I wanted to express what I was going through. I felt there was something missing in the travel blogger world, a little secret that no one tells you amidst the breathtaking sunsets and once-in-a-life-time-experiences.

It sometimes freakin' SUCKS.

Traveling full time isn't always incredible. There are struggles, there are dilemmas, there are issues, and all the baggage you had when you left - it usually comes with you, even if you're flying lowcost.
